Favente deo supero !

Successful people are simply, problem solvers and in order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure. Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successful personality and duplicate it. It is in you,Dean and I if I can be the best graduating student of all time, the best student of the year. I say to you, yes you can. 10464135_786585448039116_2707334909469084008_nTry not to become a man of success, but rather try to become a man of value. Think twice before you speak, because your words and influence will plant the seed of either success or failure in the mind of another and for you to be successful, you must work so hard as if every thing depends on you, and pray so hard as if everything depends on God, The price of success is hard work, dedication to the job at hand, and the determination that whether we win or lose, we have applied the best of ourselves to the task at hand. The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way. Develop success from failures. Discouragement and failure are two of the surest stepping stones to success. Finally thank you for your prayers, it was a dream come true. We made it, we made History.

Powerful Confession of a Witch-Doctor Following

I HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE !

RESURRETIONI have been given a second chance to rewritten the history of my life, been alive to celebrate 13this Easter is the greatest grace of all time,God have keep me alive today,so that I can be able to turn away from my sins. Someone could ask why are we celebrating, what does Easter mean to me.

The meaning of Easter is Jesus Christ’s victory over death. His resurrection symbolizes the eternal life that is granted to all who believe in Him. The meaning of Easter also symbolizes the complete verification of all that Jesus preached and taught . If He had not risen from the dead, if He had merely died and not been resurrected, He would have been considered just another teacher or Rabbi. However, His resurrection changed all that and gave final and irrefutable proof that He was really the Son of God and that He had conquered death once and for all.

The question that bother me everyday, Jesus has died for our sins, and have risen, ‘‘ Is everybody now save ?”  The answer is NO. Many people are yet to believed that Jesus Christ died for them. Many are still wallowing in different occultism group. Jesus said I am the WAY the TRUTH and LIFE. As you turn a new life by embracing Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior .May the joy of Resurrection be with you now and forever,Amen .

MY DOUBLE CHRISTMAS .

3Celebrating Christmas twice,is an experience ,that I would never forget, been a 5Christian I celebrated on the 25th of December 2012,and been a Nigeria student living in Ukraine I celebrating with the Ukrainians on the 7th of January. Christmas – a wonderful festival, a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, and it is celebrated on the eve of January 7. In the middle of IV century, it was established the Roman Catholic Church as a separate holiday, and the Julian calendar, it is celebrated on December 25. In the X century, with the introduction of Christianity in Russia, Christmas was mixed with the local pagan holiday return of the sun or the beginning of the agricultural year. In some places used dorozhdestvenskoe name of the holiday – Kolyada. Christmas Eve is the most interesting part of the festival, because it includes ritual and magical rituals 67that portend a good harvest and a long life. Caroling – a characteristic feature of the holiday, it expresses respect for the owner of the house and children and is sometimes accompanied by a puppet theater (den).

Religious festival lasts three days and includes liturgy, caroling, visits and entertainment relatives and friends. Christmas tree came to us from Western Europe, but today it is considered part of New Year celebrations in Ukraine.

“Holy Night” on Christmas Eve – it’s dinner, which includes 12 of ritual meals that do not contain meat and milk. The 4order of meals and dishes do not have a basic value. For example, the Hutsul2 traditions, meals are served in the order of beans, fish, boiled potatoes, dumplings, stuffed cabbage, kutya, mashed potatoes with garlic, juice, prunes and beans and other dishes.

Christmas – a holiday when all family members get together. It is a festival of joy. Compared to the UK and other countries, the Ukrainians in this day do not exchange gifts. For many years the only religious people celebrate this holiday, but today it is an official state holiday. Kids love to have fun in the day, they go from door to door, singing Christmas carols and people give them sweets. As mentioned, kutya – a traditional Ukrainian Christmas dish. It is made of mother and godparents include godparents. Although this holiday appeared long ago, today, few people  like to go to church and listen to the Christmas sermon.

8While many of them will be at joint, drinking beer, the youth will celebrate their Christmas in club, wonders shall7 never end. No body cares for the less privileged the orphans and the widows . I have seen Christmas I have learn my lesson and am stilling learning. As am celebrating with the Ukrainian’s ,am asking myself where is the giving spirit, which GOD show to us through his son JESUS CHRIST, which the wise men show to us by presenting their gifts. But my joy today is if  Virgin Mary whom where not well know in the bible where chosen by GOD,to be the mother of the savior ,which make her to be know ,it means with GOD all this are possible,If Mary can conceive by the holy spirit,it means GOD can make the impossibility to be possible.Merry Christmas Ukrainians .

People Delivered Watching Emmanuel TV and Anointed Water

On December 24th I send a prayer request to PASTOR TB JOSHUA concerning                   y EMMANUEL TVinability to sleep well and for good mental health. As I am talking right from GHANA I am healed and was able to sleep last night. GOD is really great. But my problem is that where I am staying there is no branch of the church. The place is called KETA in the VOLTA region of GHANA.

I am a 53 year old lady. I attained menopause more than 2 yrs back and thought all was well until I had a sudden resumption of my ‘menstrual periods’ in April this year. The bleeding was heavy.I became miserable, depressed, and confused. Doctors diagnosed multiple fibroids following a scan in June and put me on some medication. The bleeding just became worse the following month. I stopped the medication out of frustration and resorted to praying with Emmanuel tv was praying for anointing water or a sticker with faith the anointing would solve my problem. By God’s grace, an unexpected visitor in transit to a neighboring country just happened to have the anointing water. We prayed together and administered the anointing. It was August 2012 and I have not seen any bleeding ever since. I’m yet to do another scan to find out what happened to the fibroids but I know they are no longer there because I feel very light and my stomach has gone down. This is only one out of the many testimonies .A lot more has happened since that day in August. I always thank God for using his servant Prophet TB Joshua to locate me. My life will never be the same again!

TB JOSHUA’S HIDDEN SECRETS EXPOSED

We will right now go beyond the confines of the regular prophecy

prophet tb joshua my loveTB Joshua- the synagogue of all nations

confirmations relayed on Emmanuel TV, to confirm quite an unnoticed and unusual prophecy. It is an obvious fact that the SCOAN withdraws from confirming prophetic messages of this nature, still that doesn’t mean they are any less worthy of the mention and attention given to the earth shaking events which occur in fulfillment of TB Joshua’s prophetic messages (in our opinion). And before we are prophetically ushered by TB Joshua into the long list of future events to occur in the year 2013 as is usual of him, we deem it necessary to reflect on the fulfillment of a prophecy made rather explicitly as the doors of time opened to the year 2012.

Those who entered into the outgoing year (2012) with a glimpse into its future events from TB Joshua’s prophetic messages will recall Him explicitly declaring the year one of comeback, further stating that Ministers of the Gospel and worshippers who worships God in a defective way would face greater challenges in the year. The prophecy was as brief as it was exact, above is the video;

Looking intently into his prophetic words he was specifically referring to acclaimed ministers when he said; “we often say the spirit of God says this; the spirit of God says that, whereas the spirit of God is not talking to you” he here emphasizes how acclaimed spokesmen of God prophesy the imaginations of their own minds and not the communiqué of God’s Holy Spirit.

He further states that such worship and worshippers would face CHALLENGES in the year. Take note of the word in quote; “CHALLENGES”.

Following this precise prophetic utterance, and unarguably true to his prophetic foresight an unprecedented wave of CHALLENGES blew across the circle of mega ministers of the Gospel around the world, and especially those who were rooted in Nigeria’s religiously rich soil. We herewith present the GREATER CHALLENGES faced by a selected few ministers (truth is the list was endless) all in the year 2012 as prophesied by TB Joshua.

BISHOP DAVID OYEDEPO:

  • A HOT SLAP landed on the cheek of a teenager to facilitate an exorcism years ago RESURFACED in a video to land the minister in a 2 Billion Naira Lawsuit.
  • Oyedepo won the lawsuit after which the case was forwarded to the Court of appeal where it still stands pending.

REV. CHRIS OKOTIE:

  • Okotie’s Four year Marriage with his wife Stephanie suffered a wrecking Divorce in the year 2012
  • After vehemently declaring that The LORD said he would be president in 2003 and 2007, finally saying his time had come in 2011, The acclaimed Reverend Okotie scored ZERO PERCENT in the presidential polls which later led to his party FRESH Democratic Party being disbanded the year 2012 for failing to get even up to one percent vote in any state in Nigeria.
  • Okotie was dragged to court in the year 2012 by an instrumentalist in His Church for ill-treatment.
  • Lady confessed to having performed three abortions for reverend okotie and currently has a child for him which church members rumored bore uncanny resemblance to the reverend.

PASTOR MATTHEW ASHIMOLOWO

  • In the year 2012, pastor Matthew Ashimolowo Battled with a SERIOUS ILLNESS an excerpt reads;

Those in the know claimed that the televangelist is battling an ailment which nobody can define particularly, though some people in his fold say it is diabetes. According to one of the church members, the pastor, for some time had been elusive, with nobody except his close aides and top church members…Those close to the church claimed that many members didn’t know the type of ailment Ashimolowo is suffering from because it was shrouded in topmost secrecy. But further probing revealed that the man is allegedly suffering from diabetes. Click for the full story.

  • In the same year 2012, Pastor Ashimolowo was also dragged to court for allegedly stealing 65 Acres of Land. The news article described him as being “embroiled in a new conflict” an excerpt from the report reads: “He (Pastor Ashimolowo) has been dragged before Justice Akinyemi of Abeokuta High Court back home, for allegedly stealing 65 acres of land belonging to Taiwo Ijaosan and Olosunde families”. Click for the full report

many other ministers faced serious challenges in the year 2012 as prophesied by TB Joshua, this is just a short list as time would permit us here, other examples include (click on the links below)

…and many others.

If only they had returned in humility, and COMEBACK to worship God in Spirit and truth, perhaps they would have saved themselves these troubles that have tarnished their hard earned reputations. but it isn’t uncommon of them to pay deaf ear’s when God Speaks. whatever the case, In a few hours from now, TB Joshua would be prophetically ushering His people into the year 2013, and as a matter of fact we can’t wait to hear what the incoming year holds for His people and the world at large. One thing is sure, these are troubled times, but we know His people would be kept in the incoming year from the malice of the power of darkness.

TODAY POLITICAL CHURCH

have faithThinking about the segregation in churches today,it gives me pain. Church today has turn to political party,in which the pastor or Rev Father will be in altar, and be telling the congregation our church is the best church on earth, this church is good and this church is not good, some pastor and Rev father instruct their members not to watch a christian channel because it is not owned by our church. Unfortunately for any members that visit any other church,he or she will be denounces as a member.

The one that runs tears in my eyes, is the one that happen last week,a lady who has been in love with his fiances for the past two years finally agrees to settle down with her fiances, she was so happy ,so joyful and intoxicated,as the fiances proposed to marry her,she ran with great joy to her parents jumping up ,as she said dad and mum my fiances has proposed to marry me and he will be coming next week to pay my pride price. The parents quickly ask123456 their daughter,is he our church member ? The girl reply no. The parent said forget about the marriage. The girl smiles turn to tears, as she cry helplessly, now she is 29 years old, ever since she was 20,21 ,23, 25, 27 men has been asking for her hand in marriage but her parents keep on turning them down because they were not their church members. She said she has had enough of this.Everybody thought she was joking as she went into the room.Only to find out that she has hang herself. ”May her soul rest in peace ”.

The question we should ask ourselves,if we said we are the children of GOD why the segregation? why have we turn church into a political party,in which aim is to dominate in population, in steady of the salvation of the heart, pastors and Rev fathers have turn against each others, because of envy and jealousy, lying , blaspheming the anointed men of GOD and deceiving the followers . Because they are afraid to lose their members. But we are made in one accord with Christ Jesus, that means we are one in spirit so why the division. The seed of  hatred, blaspheming, jealous, envy, has been planted in today church, that is why in today church, man AUTHORITY has increase and GOD POWER has decrease . Until we are capable to make that change today,a change to understand that we are many branches but one ROOT. And the ROOT is GOD.When all churches start seeing themselves as one,GOD will be closer to the Church that ever before .Think about it if you can .

WHERE THEIR IS NO VISION PEOPLE PERISH .

Prophecies For Individuals In 2013 – Prophet T.B. Joshua

Prophecies For Individuals In 2013 – Prophet T.B. Joshua ( http://www.emmanuel.tv)

tb joshua 1Let me give you six out of many.

The prophecies for nations, continents and for those at the helm of affairs shall be announced during the next Sunday Service.

1. A year of surprises – I am seeing many great, famous, popular and rich men and politicians will become helpless and in need of help in matters of sickness, disease, finances, death, etc. One of the causes: They have failed to reward those who helped them to succeed. This is the year of judgment, especially for politicians who use youth to support their political ambitions without reward after winning power. Tell your neighbor: Reward those who help you succeed now.

2. Those in the foodstuff business will have a field day this year. Farming and agriculture will be the order of the day and will help greatly to be the source of solution this year. People engaged in it will be greatly blessed. tb joshua 2

3. Those anxious about God and who hate sin – the faithful – your prayers for many years are not lost. This year, there will be instant answers to your prayers, especially those who have been seeking for the fruit of the womb. The long-time barren will become mothers of many babies this New Year.

4. Natural disasters will be many this New Year, such as motor accidents, sea sickness and air disasters. Let us move to God. With God, all things are possible.

5. Stop praying against those who hurt you. This year, you will see clearly that God is God of vengeance. Instead, you should pray for them.

6. Do charity work – feed the poor and the needy and give scholarships to those who deserve them. This year, there is great reward in doing this if you do it with all your heart. No matter how little, share it with others. Share their pain and share their joy.

7. Our youth who think always of travelling should use the money to go into agriculture or foodstuff business because in the New Year, God will bless them. They will achieve greatness by transacting in agriculture and foodstuff and become successful in export and import business. The money I am talking about could be in the region of N100,000, N200,000, N250,000 ($1,000, $1,500, $2,000).
Those who have been working for many years and have never been satisfied with the job and salary they receive, the little limited resources at their disposal should be invested in foodstuff business or agriculture, especially those already married. They should divide themselves in such a way that either the husband or wife should step down from service where they receive salary and face agriculture.
Foodstuff business and agriculture or farming are anointed businesses this New Year, to revive the world from economic depression. This is the secret of God revealed to you today. Quote me; you will not regret doing it. My name is T.B. Joshua.

A LESSON FOR THE NEW YEAR

404175_320734801290852_559881923_nI’ve learned- that you cannot make someone love you.All you can do is be someone who can be loved. The rest is up to them. I’ve learned- that no matter how much I care, some people just don’t care back. I’ve learned- that it takes years to build up trust, and only seconds to destroy it. I’ve learned- that no matter how good
a friend is,they’re going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that. I’ve learned- that it’s not what you have
in your life but who you have in your life that counts. I’ve learned- that you should never ruin an apology with an excuse. I’ve learned- that you can get by on charm for about fifteen minutes After
that, you’d better know something. I’ve learned- that you shouldn’t
compare yourself to the best others can do. I’ve learned- that you can do something in an instant that will give you heartache for life.
I’ve learned- that it’s taking me a long time to become the person I want to be. I’ve learned- that you should always leave loved ones with loving words. It may be the last time you see them. I’ve learned- that you can keep going long after you can’t.
I’ve learned- that we are responsible for what we do, no matter how we feel. I’ve learned- that either you control your attitude or it controls you. I’ve learned- that regardless of how hot and steamy a relationship is at first, the passion fades and there had better be something else to take its place. I’ve learned- that heroes are the people who do what has to be done when it needs to be done, regardless of the consequences. I’ve learned- that money is a lousy way of keeping score. I’ve learned- that my best friend and I can do anything or nothing and have the best time. I’ve TTlearned- that sometimes the people you expect to kick you when you’re down will be the ones to help you get back up. I’ve learned- that sometimes when I’m angry I have the right to be angry, but that doesn’t give me the right to be cruel. I’ve learned- that true friendship continues to grow, even over the longest distance.Same goes for true love. I’ve learned- that just because someone doesn’t love you the way you want them to doesn’t mean they don’t
love you with all they have. I’ve learned- that maturity has more to do with what types of experiences you’ve had And what you’ve learned from them and less to do with how many birthdays you’ve celebrated. I’ve learned- that you should never tell a child their dreams are unlikely or outlandish.Few things are more humiliating, and what a tragedy it would be if they believed it.
I’ve learned- that your family won’t always be there for you.
It may seem funny, but people you aren’t related to can take care of you and love you and teach you to trust people again. Families aren’t biological. I’ve learned- that it isn’t always enough to be forgiven by others.Sometimes you are to learn to forgive yourself.
I’ve learned- that no matter how bad your heart is broken the world doesn’t stop for your grief. I’ve learned- that our background and circumstances may have influenced who we are,but we are responsible for who we become. I’ve learned- that a rich person is not the one who has the most, but is one who needs the least.
I’ve learned- that just because two people argue, it doesn’t mean they don’t love each other. And just because they don’t argue, it doesn’t mean they do. I’ve learned- that we don’t have to change friends if we understand that friends change. I’ve learned- that you shouldn’t be so eager to find out a secret. It could change your life forever. I’ve learned- that two people can look at the exact same thing and see something totally different. I’ve learned- that no matter how you try to protect your children, they will
eventually get hurt and you will hurt in the process. I’ve learned- that even when you think you have no more to give, when a
friend cries out to you, you will find the strength to help. I’ve learned- that credentials on the wall do not make you a decent human being. I’ve learned- that the people you care about most in life are taken from you too soon. I’ve learned- that it’s hard to
determine where to draw the line between being nice and not hurting people’s feelings, and standing up for what you believe.
I’ve learned- that people will forget what you said,And people will forget what you did,But people will never forget how you made them feel.Happy new Year .

THE NEW YEAR CRIES OUT IN PAIN !

104When I was a little boy,as new year draw close I will be very happy, not only that am getting 102mature in age,and hope is been assured that the coming year will be better. But now,my tears have turn into blood.New year never make me happy as in before ! Someone could ask ,why?It is true that the year is new,but their is no new thing been attach to it,Our leaders have planted hatred, corruptions, war, assassinations, poverty ,so in the new year we all have to reap what we planted. we all pray for a better new year, but the question is what have our government planted . So all we have planted in the pasting year, have germinated and that is what we are going to reap in the new year.

Children deprive of education, now on the street hawking ,parents in tears watching their children die in pain out of hungry, graduate on street, because their is no job.Economic melt down everywhere, financial crisis here and their.War between countries, watching your television all you could hear or see is war, killing and stealing of public fund, corruption in the climax. Now we are shouting and expecting the new year to be better, but the question is what have we planted? all we have planted that is what we are going to reap in the new year.

101Where is the world heading to? What is the way out? Just as my mentor senior 103major prophet TB Joshua said,we should come back to GOD ,in sincerity and in truth.Just as he said in ”www.emmanuel.tv ” When we come to GOD ,GOD is capable of changing our past, and given meaning to our future. It does not matter where we worship, GOD is one.whether christian or Muslim, thoes that worship GOD must worship GOD in spirit and in truth. In this way our leaders of tomorrow ,the born and unborn kids will not reap all the evil we have planted today,And may feel happy to say happy new year.

WHO EVER TOUT THE LAMB COULD RESCUE THE SOUL OF MAN

01Christmas is season of  love, this is one of my favorite season of the year, this is the time in which, the less privilege the motherless, the orphans, the widows, have a reason to smile, not only that they will be remember, with gifts and pleasantries, but the greatest of all joy is that a king is born.A hope is assured. It all started two thousand years ago, when the people where hold in bondage, slaves and prison-ed in their own sins. Everybody was condemned to death by sins, and have fallen out in-short of the glory of GOD Almighty. Before a cow will be salter for sacrifices use in purification and sanctification.God was not happy with  human kind and wanted to destroy the world. GOD only begotten son volunteer HIMSELF as a living sacrifices. Just to show us how much GOD loves us. Hallelujah ! WHO COULD EVER TOUT THE  LAMB COULD RESCUE THE SOUL OF MAN ? HOSANNA IN THE HIGHEST !! JESUS CHRIST IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON.

I could remember my early days as a child, during Christmas period my parents will buy us a new cloth, new shoes , 0robber watch and plastic eye glass ,hahahaha  just laughing it loud.At my early youth age in Africa it was so fun to spend the Christmas with friends, relatives, and well wishers, and moreover the Africa  sun makes the weather to be warm, favorable, conducive and keep the Christmas spirit alive. In Africa the green trees give out their fresh oxygen like never before, many cultures of many kinds will be display.Dancing, wrestling, some traditions like yam festival, breaking of cola nut and so on will take place all in the spirit of season. As a young man,I have celebrate Christmas not only in Africa, but also in Europe as well. Here in Europe, the white snow add a flavor to the season, kids play around the snow, Christmas tree in every street, concert  shows,I could remember the last concert I visited with my Russian teacher, the LADY at the concert where playing all the whole instrument with her leg ,Just like magic. wonders shall never end. I have seen Christmas.

02Celebrating Christmas is good, but the aim of Christmas should not be forgotten. The fundamentalism of  GOD love to mankind should not be forgotten. The freedom given to us by GOD through HIS BELOVED son JESUS CHRIST that we are no longer slave but children of GOD,should help us to pay back the same love by been faithful to GOD Almighty.IF GOD CAN GIVE ME JESUS CHRIST HE CAN GIVE ME ANYTHING. That is love.So let love lead.Show love to someone today,Please try and put a smile on someone face ,because that is what the season is all about. It is a season of Love .Have a Christmas that will never end. IF FRIENDSHIP IS YOUR WEAKEST POINT !

According to Abraham Lincoln ” He said ”IF FRIENDSHIP IS YOUR WEAKEST POINT THEN YOU ARE THE STRONGEST PERSON IN THE WORLD” .Friends will come and go in your life, but more important than how long a friendship lasts, is that a good friend will love you for who you are. The way you can tell the sign of a good friend is by looking at the actions they take –big and small – that show they care.

Some common signs of a good friend include

  • someone who will support you no matter what
  • someone you can trust and who won’t judge you
  • someone who won’t put you down or deliberately hurt your feelings
  • someone who is kind and has respect for you
  • someone who will love you because they choose to, not because they feel like they should
  • someone whose company you enjoy
  • showing loyalty
  • being trustworthy and willing to tell you the truth, even when it’s hard
  • someone who can laugh when you do
  • someone who is willing to stick around when things get tough
  • someone who makes you smile
  • someone who is there to listen
  • someone who will cry when you cry.
  • How to be a good friend

If you want to do all or many of the things listed above for someone you care about, you’re already a good friend. It’s also common though, to not know exactly what to do or say to be there for someone. Some practical things you can do to be there for a friend include . Listen: Listening is so important not to underestimate, but it can be hard to do. The best way to listen is to try and understand the situation from your friends’ point of view. If you aim to do this, you’ll naturally find yourself beginning to ask the right sort of questions and they will appreciate having someone who really cares about how they feel and what they’re going through. You don’t have to have all the answers, and you shouldn’t assume your friend wants advice – they might just want to talk so that they can work out what they’re going to do themselves. Ask them what they need: If you’re worried about someone and you want to be there for them, just ask them what they need- that way you know what they find helpful during tough times, and you can be there in a way that’s most useful to them. Get physical:  Smiles and hugs are a great way to show friends that they’re not alone, that you’re there for them, and that they are important. Keep in touch: Even if you guys aren’t nearby each other, making an effort to keep in touch through Facebook  emails, texts and calls will show your friend you are there for them.Tell them how you feel: You don’t have to make a big deal of it all the time but sometimes there are moments where letting someone know that they’re important to you through something you say, can make a big difference to how someone is feeling. Get the facts: If your friend has a medical condition, or a mental health issue, a good way to offer support is to learn about what they’ve been diagnosed with. Taking an interest in what they’re going through shows that you care, and that you’re planning to stick around no matter what’s going on. Be willing to make a tough call:  If you think the safety of your friend is at risk, you might need to act without their consent and get help (see the sidebar for where you can seek help). It can be a hard choice particularly when you’re worried about their reaction, but remember that you are acting because you care and you don’t want them to be hurt. This is the living legend OSUJI INNOCENT .Without ourselves there is no friend.

TWO NIGERIAN GIRLS FACE DEPORTATION FOR WORKING WHILE STUDYING IN CANADA !

For some time now, there has been a silent battle going on for two Nigerian female students attending a university in . As a matter of fact, two Canadian ministers are blocking all efforts to stop the two University of Regina (U of R) students from being deported. Meanwhile the two concerned students, Victoria Ordu and Ihuoma Amadi, have been taken sanctuary in a Regina church for several months because they’re afraid they’ll be deported.

Their crime: They have student visas which allow them to work, but only on campus. They claim they did not know of the restriction and worked for a short time at a Wal-Mart store, but stopped as soon as they learned of the rules. However, they have been ordered to leave the country. Since then there have been protests, petitions and various media reports about their situation.

Recently, Saskatchewan Economy Minister Bill Boyd wrote to federal  Safety Minister, Vic Toews, who is responsible for the Canadian Border Services Agency, expressing concern and asking for an update. However, on Wednesday, Toews told CBC News there will be no exceptions made for Ordu and Amadi. He went further, saying the two aren’t even students.

In his words, “I’m advised that the two individuals are not students in accordance with the plan that they’ve submitted here and have no basis for remaining in ,” he said. Also, Federal Immigration Minister Jason Kenny made similar statements in the House of Commons on Wednesday in response to a question from Saskatchewan Liberal MP Ralph Goodale.

Goodale had asked: “Both the University of Regina and the Government of Saskatchewan oppose of these two young women for a small honest mistake. Will the minister agree?”

In response, Kenny said: “First of all, one of the students told the CBSA that she had not been enrolled in classes and had been academically disqualified, and she had documents confirming that… Both of these individuals had hearings before the immigration division before receiving exclusion orders. Both of their social insurance numbers indicated that they did not have permission to work in .”

However, a consultant working on the women’s cases says that’s not true. He says they were both enrolled at the U of R and while they broke the rules, in this case the punishment does not fit the crime.

On their part the students, who are afraid of having three years of their lives wasted, are devastated: “It’s a huge deal to finish school, come back (to Nigeria) and help the country… Now to think we lose three years of our lives because of a small mistake? If there was a fine, a warning, that would be more reasonable. I just wish they could look at this from a human point of view,” Amadi says.

Also, Barb Pollock, U of R spokeswoman, says while the school respects the fact laws have to be upheld, it is trying to advocate for a reconsideration of the girls’ case: “We think that the penalty, perhaps, is a bit severe for the crime,” she says… Albeit that laws have been contravened, in light of what they have done to contravene the law, we would like them to have an opportunity to complete their education with us … (and) we think it is a harsh penalty to be deported.”

UKRAINE ELECTION- EUROPE VS RUSSIAN !

Ukraine holds parliamentary elections on Sunday. With opposition leader Yulia Tymoshenko serving time for alleged abuse of office, many say this cannot be called a democratic vote. The ruling Party of Regions is widely expected to win, though earlier this year, polls credited it with barely 20 per cent support. A report from Ukraine’s second city, Kharkiv.

The Fatherland party, led by the jailed charismatic former Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, the Udar (Punch) of world boxing champion Vitali Klitschko and a nationalist party together received more than 50 percent of the vote on party lists, outnumbering Yanukovych’s Party of Regions and its traditional ally, the Communist Party.

Both Yanukovych’s and Tymoshenko’s parties claimed victory, saying the election showed the voters trust them to lead the country.

However, only half of the parliament’s 450 seats are split proportionately between the winning parties. The other half is filled by the winners of single-mandate races, where Yanukovych loyalists are expected to make a strong showing. In the election, each voter had two ballots, one with party names and one with the name of candidates in specific constituencies. No exit poll numbers were available for the individual races.

With Yanukovych under fire over the jailing of his top rival, Tymoshenko; rampant corruption and slow reforms, the opposition made a strong showing.

Tymoshenko’s Fatherland party is poised to get about 25 percent of the proportional vote, the Udar (Punch) led by world boxing champion Vitali Klitschko is set to get around 15 percent and the nationalist Svoboda (Freedom) party receives some 12 percent. The Party of Regions polled 28 percent and the Communists nearly 12 percent. Read more of this post

THE SMILE OF A PRISONER IN THE FACE OF TIME

As a youth in my early stage of life,I could remember the day I visited the prisoners, tears keep on running through my eyes as a prisoner narrated his story. With tears I asked him,you have been sentenced to death, why are you happy, why are you smiling? Even when they are going to execute you the next two days. With tears all over my  eyes,I was looking straight into his eyes, his bears was tattered, grown and won-out,His hair  which was cut or scraped with a bottle ,his legs were filled with naked sour smelling open wounds,He was half naked with a pale of blue short, which color had turned to black, inside the pocket of his short is the house of cockroach .His legs were  color with the cob-web ,looking at his body, his ribs were almost falling out of his chest. One could ask  his or herself, when was the last time  the prisoner had at-least half square meal ?His eyes looks terrify and frighten dime and almost fallen into his body.As I keep on looking at him my heart felt, was broken into tears but to my greatest amazement. He smiles the more,I was totally confuse,I asked myself what could be his joy,his happiness in a situation that he was not feeding well,no relatives to visit him,he was rejected by the world, abandon and disowned.Even when the only alternative left was death, and just in two days time .At this time my tears gave way to my attention. I asked him broadly ,what happen to you?Why are you here?and what is your joy? That makes you keep on smiling all over and over again. He told me that it is a long story, but I plead with him because am I want to learn from his experience.

He continue by saying to me,do not cry for me,cry for the  orphans, the widows and the widower cry for them.I  fight for justice for all ,Just like the late Legend Fela kuti, I speak out for my people,But I was warned seriously by the Authorities in-charge of corruption,public embezzlement to keep silence, and see the people suffering,or to keep on speaking out,and face the penalty of death.I chosen not to keep silence, and that is why,I will be sentence in the next two days.I  said Sir you are not going to die.I could remember  the last word he said to me,before the Security man in uniform came to me and said Legend Osuji Innocent ,your time is up.I said to the officer,a minute sir ,the officer paid a deaf ear to my request, and as he was been drag out by the officer ,he said to me” If this new generation will have a change of heart and a change of mind we will get their. If and only if we can see others as ourselves, treat them with fair share, without asking which tripe he or she is coming from, the kind of language he or she speak. We will get their .This is Osuji Innocent, the living Legend reporting for wordpress.com

A PLEDGE AT 52

The pledge of our fore- father’s SIR HERBERT MACAULAY,CHIEF OBAFEMI AWOLOWO,Dr NNAMDI AZIKIWE,SIR AHMADU BELLO,SIR ABUBAKAR TAFAWA BELEWA,GENERAL MURTALA RAMAT MOHAMMED. Which was even congregated in the Nigeria national anthem, which says  I PROMISE TO BE FAITHFUL,ROYAL  AND HONEST,TO SERVER NIGERIA WITH ALL MY STRENGTH ,SO HELP ME GOD was pledge from the mind, and with a greed from the heart. It was not a pledge with muscle.

Today all I can see is a pledge  of the tongue, and a deceived in the heart,we pledge to be faithful,we pledge to be royal and more annoyingly we pledge to be honest ,when we got our independent. But today, the pledge I see is the pledge of a man in the prison, fill with confusion and frustration.

The question now is how do we get ourselves out of the mess we put ourselves, these can only be achieve when we put on a good look ,when we start now to pledge from the heart and not with muscle, when we learn to see others as  ourselves ,in  this way we will get their. Let’s pledge today to live a life of a good Nigerian. In this way the pledge of our fore father’s,the pledge of our late legend Fela kuti will not be in vain .GOD bless Nigeria. These is the living Legend Osuji Innocent reporting for wordpress.com

NIGERIAN’S 52 YEARS INDEPENDENCE TEARS OF JOY TURN TO BLOOD.

To day Nigerian’s mourn their 52 years of independence. In 52 years ago when the independence was got it was all joy, boys and girls running in the street  shouting happy independence day, father and mother ran to the market, shouting we made it,yes we made it ! happy independence day !! both Christians and Muslims ran to church and mosque to bow down to the creator who made it possible ,all dick and harry, shouting in their homes ,across the street, happy independence day ! The Christians was not shouting we are Christians the Muslims was not shouting we are Muslims, all of them were shouting in a loud voice ,saying ”ONE NIGERIA ! HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY WE MADE IT !

But a year letter, the people’s hope was broken.the smiles in the face turns to tears, life was lost, blood shed everywhere.People that shouted one Nigeria start losing their beloved one’s due to hungry, the boys and girls that ran to the street with joy that great education is born shouting happy independence were deceived ,many of their parents can not afford a daily bread talk of sending the kids to school.Everyday the rich become more richer, while the poor begged for bread from street to street.

Today Nigeria is 52 .What are we celebrating? are we celebrating the bad roads, the falling standard of education, the bad electricity, the frustrate homes, the killings and assassination of legend who have had the courage to speak for the country, just like FELA KUTI,are we celebrating the running of  thousands of Nigerian’s who have ran way from home to other countries and have turn to slaves, are we celebrating the life lost by our youth corp ,are we celebrating the blood spiting today by Christians and Muslims whom celebrated together as one body when the independence was found.

The cry of the less privilege should touch our heart, the cry of the widows and widower should give us a new thinking, the orphans and beggars in the street are just human like us, their cry should give us a meaning. The cry of our founding father’s should touch our heart, should touch our leaders, whom gave everything they have in other to achieve one Nigeria and summaries their effort with a greed said in the national Anthem  ”  I PROMISE TO BE FAITHFUL,ROYAL AND HONEST,TO SERVER NIGERIA WITH ALL MY STRENGTH ‘‘,The death of Fela kuti, who fight for justices for all should touch our heart.

Tears in my eyes ,a nation bless with ”milk” and ”horny” have fail in the face of time. The question is who will save the dying generation? Both Christian’s and Muslims should come together, down on their knees and pray in one voice, for GOD intervention, we Nigeria’s both home and abroad should put on a good behavior ,a behavior which will reflect the life we desire, and at last we can say we are proudly Nigerian’s.GOD bless Nigeria.

NIGERIA AT 52 WHAT A SHAME !

Nigeria my beloved country at 52,A complete failure.People killing each other, Christian and muslin, killing themselves ! what a shame !! When a christian and a Muslim lived at closed doors .They are neighbors to each other ,neighbors killing neighbors ,NIGERIA AT 52 WHAT A SHAME !! when GOD’S commandment said love your neighbor as yourself !

Language racism,an Igbo Man speaking Igbo language even when a Yoruba person is in their midst ,A Yoruba person speaking Yoruba language even when An Igbo man and a Hausa  man is in their midst. A Hausa man doing the same act, fellow Nigerian’s where do we go from here? .the invention of our language was to promote culture, and not to promote racism, and segregation among us.

Today every dick and harry want to leave the country and ran away due to the falling standard of education, corruption in a highly magnify level.Thousands of Nigeria frustrated in a foreign country. Many of them have turn to slaves, some can not even remember the last time they went home.Tears in my eyes a country fill with milk and honey have fail in the face of time. One could ask! what are we celebrating  at Nigeria at 52 ? When an average Nigerian can not boast of a square meal . Beggars in the street  begging to make a square meal, children out of school because no one to pay their school fees.Graduate searching for work, and no where to work ,increase rate of Arm robbery and prostitution .

Thanks to our politicians. Our political hallelujah, who have failed to improve the life of  citizens, and have improved in first class honors in the department of public embezzlement ,stealing of public fund, and paying deaf ear to the people they govern. What a shame ! To me,the best way to celebrate Nigeria at 52 is for everybody, dick and harry, small and old. Christian and Muslim to come together on their knees and pray for GOD intervention .Because the Nigeria I dream of is not the Nigeria am living in.I believe we will get their .GOD bless Nigeria. This is the living Legend Osuji Innocent reporting for wordpress.com

WORLD CLASS COACH MOURINHO SWEAR HE CAN IF

Didier Drogba will move to Real Madrid, according to a report in Tuesday’s papers.

The Daily Mail reports that the Ivory Coast striker, who has already confirmed that he is quitting Chelsea this summer, is in talks with former boss Jose Mourinho about a two-year deal to take him to the Bernabeu.

Drogba had been widely tipped to link up with former team-mate Nicolas Anelka in a big-money move to China, but internal strife at Shanghai Shenhua (which looks likely to see Anelka fired) and Mourinho’s recent empowerment over transfers at Real means the 34-year-old Drogba looks set to move to the Spanish champions.Fernando Torres, by contrast, will be sticking around at Stamford Bridge according to a report in the Independent after Roman Abramovich interceded to persuade the unsettled striker to remain at the Blues.

Petroleum industry in Nigeria

Nigeria has a population of over 110 million people and an abundance of natural resources, especially hydrocarbons. It is the 10th largest oil producer in the world, the third largest in Africa and the most prolific oil producer in Sub-Saharan Africa. The Nigerian economy is largely dependent on its oil sector which supplies 95% of its foreign exchange earnings. The upstream oil industry is Nigeria’s lifeblood and yet it is also central to the ongoing civil unrest in the country, which gained worldwide publicity with the trial and execution of Ken Saro Wiwa, and eight other political activists in 1995.

The upstream oil industry is the single most important sector in the economy. According to the 2011 BP Statistical Energy Survey, Nigeria had proved oil reserves of 37.2 billion barrels at the end of 2010, equivalent to 42.4 years of current production and 2.68 % of the world’s reserves. The Nigerian government plans to expand its proven reserves to 40 billion barrels by 2010. Most of this is produced from the prolific Niger River Delta. Despite problems associated with ethnic unrest, border disputes and government funding, Nigeria’s wealth of oil makes it most attractive to the major oil-multinationals, most of whom are represented in Nigeria, with the major foreign stakeholder being Shell. Nigeria produced an average of 2401.6 thousand barrels of crude oil per day in 2010, 2.94% of the world and a change of 16.2 % compared to 2009. Read more of this post

LIFE AS A NIGERIAN

Nigerian society varies greatly between urban and rural areas, across ethnic and religious borders, and with levels of education. Still, most Nigerians share a strong attachment to family and especially to children, clearly differentiated roles for men and women, a hierarchical social structure, and the dominance of religion in shaping community values. Nigerian society functions in a highly patriarchal fashion, with men exerting broad control over the lives of women, who are less educated and have limited access to health and social services. Women work far longer hours than men. They perform virtually all housework and child care, as well as (for most women) many hours of income-earning work, especially farming. The exceptions are in some southern states, where women are more active in trade and exert considerable political influence. In northern Muslim communities, especially cities, women are confined to home according to purdah (the seclusion of women from public places). Many women in purdah participate in a hidden trade in craft articles, prepared foodstuffs, and other goods, using children as couriers. Polygyny is widely practiced among Muslims, among adherents of traditional religions, and among Christians who belong to independent African churches. Among northern Muslims and in many more traditional societies, most girls enter family-arranged marriages near the age of puberty. The daughters of more educated populations, particularly in the south, tend to marry when they are in their late teens or early twenties. Men usually marry at a later age, especially if they come from poorer families that are unable to afford the high cost of weddings and bride-price (payment given to the bride’s family by or on behalf of the future husband). Social life has traditionally revolved around ceremonies: weddings, infants’ naming ceremonies, and public performances associated with cultural and religious holidays. Young adult males living in cities enjoy going to cinemas, dance clubs, and bars for recreation. Some Muslim women, for example among the Hausa, have their own social institutions revolving around the bori, a cult of spirit possession. Bori ceremonies provide women with a forum for interaction that is relatively free of male control, and offer explanations and remedies that help women cope with problems such as the death of their children. Clothing in Nigeria symbolizes religious affiliation, wealth, and social standing. Northern Muslim men wear long, loose-fitting garments such as the caftan, together with colorful embroidered hats or (among traditional officials) turbans. Most Yoruba men also wear elaborate gowns and hats, somewhat different in style. Many Nigerians in the south wear casual Western-style dress. Women wear wraparound garments or dresses, typically made from very colorful materials, and beautiful head-ties that may be fashioned into elaborate patterns. Diets vary regionally and between city and country. Grain-based dishes such as tuwo da miya, a thick sorghum porridge eaten with a spicy, vegetable-based sauce, dominate the northern diet. Dishes made from root crops, such as pounded yam and gari (a granular product made from cassava), are more prevalent in the south. Northerners eat more meat, either in sauces or as kebabs known as tsire. Yogurt and soured milk produced by Fulani pastoralists form an important part of rural northern diets. Modernization and poverty have made cheaper bulk food staples such as cassava, maize (corn), rice, white bread, and pasta increasingly important in both rural and urban areas. Muslims generally do not approve of drinking alcohol, especially northern Muslims, who tend to prefer tea and soft drinks. In the rest of the country, it is common to drink commercially brewed beer or traditional drinks such as beer made from sorghum or millet and palm wine. Kola nuts are used widely as a stimulant, especially in the north. Nigerians, particularly youth, are avid sports fans and participants, and by far the most loved game is soccer, known as football. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia, Nigeria’s national team, the Green Eagles, won the gold medal. Several Nigerian footballers have achieved prominence playing professionally in Europe, and all major cities are represented in Nigeria’s highly competitive national football league. Nigerians have also excelled internationally at track and field, particularly in shorter-distance races, and in boxing. Other popular sports are field hockey, basketball, and table tennis.
